Adjusted and Unadjusted Sales Estimates: Oklahoma Cities Adjusted, unadjusted, and moving average monthly estimates of sales subject to local sales taxes for incorporated places in Oklahoma. The series is based on tax receipts for all incorporated places in Oklahoma obtained from the Oklahoma Tax Commission. The series is compiled by the Center for Economic and Management Research . Adjusted Retail Sales Estimates: Oklahoma Cities Adjusted monthly retail sales estimates for 49 selected cities in Oklahoma. Estimates are made by the Center for Economic and Management Research , University of Oklahoma from retail sales tax collection data provided by the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Estimates are available for the period March 1988 through current and are seasonally adjusted using the Census X-11 Seasonal Adjustment. [more]

Oklahoma General Business Index Developed at the Center for Economic and Management Research, Michael F. Price College of Business, The University of Oklahoma, the Oklahoma General Business Index is a composite of  state and national economic variables for Oklahoma,  the Oklahoma City and Tulsa Metropolitan Statistical Areas.

The index is benchmarked on 1987 data and, thereby, provides a relative measure for judging the level of the economy today based on that benchmark. The indexes are created with the average value for 1987=100.

Oklahoma Department of Commerce

Oklahoma Community Profiles A compilation of social, economic, and demographic characteristics for over 200 Oklahoma communities. Each includes information on location, population, climate, municipal services, utilities, labor market analysis, major employers, transportation, financial institutions, available industrial financing, local development organizations, community services, tax structure, education facilities, medical facilities, recreation facilities, and major businesses in the community. The database is prepared by the Information Management Team of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce based on questionnaires completed by each community, with some additional data researched by the department. All data on each community are from the most recently completed questionnaires.
